In this video, we provide you with some insights into the creative process of the 2D Stringart “Psy Galaxy” as part of our own brand PSYWORK. Firstly, we show you preparatory steps like cutting the wooden strips as well as glueing and screwing them together.

Secondly, the stapling and driving of nails in the wood follow as one of the most important tasks. As soon as the string art motive is tacked, the wooden frame is additionally varnished and in our case, we spray-paint it with black varnish.

Finally, the black light wool is mounted on the frame fibre for fibre using the prior fixed nails until the motive and, thus, the string art is finished.
