Looney Grandpas – Altered States

Label veterans Looney Grandpas return to Mindspring, offering up another zany psychedelic adventure, Straight Outta Looney Bin. This enthralling journey marks the Grandpas’ third release on the label, following 2021’s Looposuction and 2022’s Slavic Solstice. 

This time, the eccentric Croatian duo Emir Cehaic and Goran Goldberger present us with another impressive psychedelic adventure; 9-tracks of chunky head-boppin’ midtempo grooves set the stage for a variety of tribal, dubby ethno-world sounds woven throughout. The same expert-level sound design we got familiar with in their previous productions reliably presents itself in full bloom for Straight Outta Looney Bin.
