Biography of E.T. (Manuel O.)

DJ E.T.

Manuel O., known as DJ E.T., was born in 1985 in Lower Austria and developed a deep passion for bass-heavy music from a very young age. Even as a child, he was drawn to the deep frequencies and driving rhythms that make the Psytrance scene so unique.

In 2005, his musical journey took a significant turn when he attended his first Psytrance party with his best friend.

Within the first few minutes of this event, surrounded by pulsating basslines and hypnotic sounds, he realized that this genre would forever define his life.

From that moment on, he began attending Psytrance parties and festivals every weekend—not only in Vienna, but also in Austria, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. Until 2009, he could always be found dancing to the energetic and meditative sounds of this scene.

However, life had other plans. Due to personal reasons, E.T. had to take a long break and step away from the music scene.

This hiatus lasted until 2016, when he decided to reignite his DJ career in Lower Austria. A year later, he moved to Switzerland by Lake Constance, where his journey as DJ E.T. began.

The first three years of his career were dedicated to learning DJ techniques, diving into music production, and creating countless mixes for his Mixcloud and Soundcloud pages. This time was crucial for him to find his own style and lay the foundation for what was yet to come.

From 2019 to 2024, E.T. started playing at small birthday parties and sharing his passion through live streams on Mixcloud—a period also marked by the pandemic, which affected the world during this time.

These live streams allowed him to share his music and energy with the world, and his audience slowly but steadily grew.

Musically, E.T. is known for his distinctive style, a mix of Twisted Darkpsy and FullOn, with an energetic tempo of 148 BPM.

This driving, high-energy music, combined with dark, deep sounds, is reflected in his performances—a truly intense experience for those who dive into the forest of rhythms and beats.

Commitment to Sound Quality

A great friend of Manuel’s, also deeply invested in the music scene, and Manuel both place tremendous value on optimal sound quality. Their first project together was a sound system featuring a setup 6 meters wide, 2.2 meters high, and 32 kW in power, including 6 subwoofers, 4 mid-range speakers, and 4 tops.

Over time, their collection of sound systems has grown to include several large and smaller setups, complete with all the necessary equipment for light, sound, and electrical services.
